Over the years, CDO Technologies has gained the greatest wisdom and insight by meeting with customers and talking with them face-to-face. MyEdPortal customers act as an advisory committee for the company, providing direction, input, and support though ongoing communications, workshops, and meetings. Customers reflect the diversity of CDO's customers across North America, representing school districts of diverse sizes, geographical areas, and technology capacity needs and usage. The MyEdPortal customers help the company stay well informed about the evolving needs and considerations of diverse school districts throughout North America, giving customers a voice in the company's direction and activities.

The customer positions are designated to advise CDO Technologies on a broad spectrum of education technology issues and activities. Each customer plays an important role that includes the opportunity to:

  • Keep CDO Technologies up to date on market trends and key issues
  • Act as a liaison with MyEdPortal users and other Education Administrators
  • Assist with communications between CDO, customer, and the marketplace
  • Participate with special projects/issues, including Regional Group Meetings

  • Use Advisory Council to ensure we are moving in the best direction and are dealing with the priority needs of K-12 market.


  • The Columbus LPDC had a major workflow issue. Mountains of paperwork and to few resources were hampering critical reviews of each teacher's Professional Development plan. Educators who didn't maintain their own paper records, were forced to call the staff members for updates. Paper records had to be search, accounted for and stored.

    Columbus contacted CDO Technologies to review their process. CDO Technologies formed a team of developers and education experts to handle the needs of the large school district. After a selection process, CerTrak was selected as the product of choice for the school district's professional development solution. CDO worked with the customer to customize the product to their needs.
